Southern Indiana Community Bank seeks a Compliance Officer to provide oversight of the Bank’s Compliance Management System as it applies to the Bank’s activities. This involves creating policies and accompanying procedures to ensure that the Bank is compliant with applicable federal and state laws. The incumbent is responsible for staff training, reviewing transactions for compliance, providing assistance to staff in answering compliance related questions and reporting to the Board of Directors. The Compliance Officer is also responsible for ensuring that an adequate external audit is conducted annually. The Compliance Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act Compliance Program. This position establishes, participates and maintains relationships with community based charitable and non-profit organizations.
