Teresa Templeton

teresa_templetonTeresa Templeton is a Consultant with PBS. Ms. Templeton’s professional career spans over 30 years of working in the banking industry with extensive background in bank management, regulatory compliance, internal auditing, mergers and acquisitions and training program development and facilitating.  Prior to joining PBS in September 2004 Mrs. Templeton held various management positions with three banks in Sikeston, Missouri where she resides. Professional and management positions included Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager, Quality Control (internal audit) Officer, Compliance Officer, Community Investment Officer, Security Officer, District Training Officer II, Merger and Acquisition Specialists, Operations Officer II, Call Center Manager and Electronic Banking Officer/Manager. Also, during her banking career Ms. Templeton has served as the Audit Committee secretary and was elected and fulfilled a three-year term on the Missouri Banker’s Association Leadership Committee.

Throughout her career Ms. Templeton has always placed an emphasis on continual education in order for her to stay abreast of federal regulations, industry standards, strengthen management skills, and for personal growth and development. Studies in business management were acquired through both Southeast Missouri State University and Park College.  Mrs. Templeton is a graduate of the Kirchman Compliance School – Jackson, Mississippi and received certificates of completion for the Alex Sheshunoff Management and Sales and Service programs. Various workshops and seminars offered through Missouri Banker’s Association, Professional Bank Services and Tennessee Bankers Association focusing on topics as Call Report Preparation, Regulation CC, Regulation E and other regulatory compliance in both deposits and lending functions have regularly been attended. With an extensive background in electronic banking, Ms. Templeton also continues to attend seminars/workshops and receives updated information from Tennessee Automated Clearing House (TACHA) and Southern Financial Exchange focusing on the NACHA Operating “Rules.” The most recent was the 2012 Annual Southern Financial Exchange ACH Conference held in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Services provided by Ms. Templeton at PBS include financial and operational audits, management consulting & compliance services including, ACH Compliance Reviews and Risk Assessments, management studies and due diligence services. Ms. Templeton also provides Sarbanes-Oxley compliance services to include control analysis, documentation of process narratives, risk, and internal control assessment.
